Alexis Howe
I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember, and I spent more time in the high-school art room than in any other classroom. My homework was always covered in doodles, and I was usually drawing instead of paying attention. That passion followed me into college, where I earned a degree in illustration and art history, along with tackling classes in graphic design.
Since then, I’ve worked with a variety of small businesses to help bring their ideas to life. I currently live in a small, field-riddled town in Pennsylvania, which heavily influences my work and fuels my interest in wildlife and the natural world. While nature and animals are central themes in much of my art, my creativity often ventures well beyond those subjects.
When I’m not creating, you can usually find me working in our taxidermy shop or spending time outdoors. My work has been featured in a range of competitions and exhibitions, including multiple Pennsylvania and Ohio Taxidermy Shows and the Seasons Taproom exhibition in 2023. Several pieces have received ribbons and awards, which are scattered throughout my portfolio.
If you think I’d be a great fit for an upcoming project—or you’re interested in a commission—I’d love to chat. Feel free to reach out using the contact form below.
